Santa Clara has lost bouts against California, New Mexico, and most recently was marked two-point dogs in a narrow 84-82 home loss to Utah State on Wednesday night. The Broncos are marked 139th in the country in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are 1-2 on neutral courts including a loss against California. Santa Clara hasn’t been quite as dangerous offensively recently but is averaging a solid 79.2 points, good for 93rd. They are struggling in the defensive end in the current slide and are conceding an average of 73.2 points, pegging them 240th.
