Nobody does it better when it comes to NCAAB Picks!

The Santa Clara Broncos enjoyed a promising start to the season but have cooled down. They were 7-1 after eight games but have since lost three consecutive games due to poor defensive play. Santa Clara has lost bouts against California, New Mexico, and most recently was marked two-point dogs in a narrow 84-82 home loss to Utah State on Wednesday night. The Broncos have covered the spread in only one of their last five games.

Adama Bal is having a solid year. The junior guard has reached 20 points on three occasions this season. He scored 18 points on Wednesday and has registered an average of 14.9 PPG on 49% shooting. Carlos Marshall Jr. was piling on the points early in the season but hasn't been as productive recently.  The senior guard has solid numbers, posting an average of 14.1 PPG on a stellar 54% mark from the field. Johnny O’Neil collected 15 points on Wednesday. The junior forward has issued an average of 8.4 PPG on 43.2% shooting.

The Broncos are marked 139th in the country in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are 1-2 on neutral courts including a loss against California. Santa Clara hasn’t been quite as dangerous offensively recently but is averaging a solid 79.2 points, good for 93rd. They are struggling in the defensive end in the current slide and are conceding an average of 73.2 points, pegging them 240th.
