The Santa Clara Broncos will head up to Spokane and face the Gonzaga Bulldogs in WCC action from McCarthey Athletic Center on the CBSSN. This will mark the 100th time Gonzaga and Santa Clara face off, and the Zags hold an all-time lead of, 69-30, after winning 25 straight meetings.
Santa Clara dropped to 16-7 after losing to Pacific at home. The Broncos trailed the Tigers at the break, and ending up falling to them in a shootout, 95-89. Santa Clara is scoring 75.4 points per game, while allowing 72.1 ppg, and shooting 44.5% from the floor.
Santa Clara is streaking into conference play, winning each of their last four games by double figures. The Broncos are 4-4 in WCC play, with a 2-2 record on the road. Carlos Stewart scored 21 In wins over BYU and Pacific, and he’s second on the team at 15.1 ppg. Fifth-year forward Keshawn Justice scored 22 points in the first meeting with Gonzaga and he’s up to 13.3 ppg, with 4.8 rpg.
