San Jose State Spartans (11-4) vs. Boise State Broncos (10-4)

They beat the Rebels as 5.5-point underdogs, and the Spartans pulled off another upset on New Year’s Eve, defeating the Colorado State Rams 78-70 as 8.5-point road dogs. 

SJSU erased a 14-point deficit at Moby Arena in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Spartans went 13-for-27 from beyond the 3-point line and outrebounded the Rams 42-27 while posting 11 offensive rebounds. Junior guard Omari Moore accounted for 29 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while senior forward Sage Tolbert III double-doubled with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Moore is now tallying 15.0 points, 4.7 boards, and 4.7 assists per game in 2 022-23. 

San Jose State is No. 96 in the NCAA NET Rankings and No. 129 in the KenPom rankings. The Spartans score 105.9 points per 100 possessions (94th in the nation) and allow 102.5 points in return (183rd).
