San Jose State at Wyoming 10/1/22 – College Football Picks & Predictions

The San Jose Spartans end a short one game homestand in week five as they visit Laramie, WY to take on the Wyoming Cowboys. San Jose State is 2-1 thus far this year following a 28 point blowout win over Western Michigan. Defensively San Jose State dominated holding Western Michigan to only 201 total yards and six points in the game.

Offensively San Jose State played well totaling nearly 400 yards of offense in route to 34 points in the game. Chevan Cordeiro led the way for San Jose State completing 17 of 28 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns and ran the ball eight times for 30 yards as well. Justin Lockhart proved to be the primary receiver for San Jose State with 116 yards on four catches and Charles Ross added three catches for 49 yards and one touchdown as well.

The Wyoming Cowboys return home in week five following their second loss of the season to BYU. The Wyoming offense sputtered against BYU totaling only 278 yards including an abysmal 124 on the ground. Defensively Wyoming was dominated as BYU chewed up 525 total yards to score 38 points including 24 in the second half
