The San Francisco Giants hit the road again after a successful six-game homestand that saw the Giants take five out of six games against the Phillies and Marlins. The Giants pulled to within two games of .500 with the solid stretch of play. Back on the road, the Giants are looking to improve upon their 7-13 road record heading into this series. In games one and two, the Giants scored four runs in each game, winning 4-1 and 4-3. After a 4-run first-inning held up in a game one win, the Giants came back from a 3-0 deficit with two runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh, thanks to Michael Conforto's second home run in as many days, to take game two as well.

The Giants will send Anthony DeSclafani to the hill on Wednesday afternoon hoping to continue his fast start to the season. DeSclafani is 3-3 in nine starts this season, with five quality starts. His ERA sits at 3.09 while allowing 48 hits in 55.1 innings of work. In his last outing, DeSclafani went 5.1 innings while allowing five hits and two runs in a 4-3 Giants win. On the road this season, DeSclafani has a 1.75 ERA in four starts. He's allowed 17 hits in 25.2 innings while walking just one and striking out 14 batters. He has a 45% hard-hit rate this season but has one of the league's lowest walk percentage at just 3.2%.
