Stripling will take the hill for the visitors Monday afternoon. The veteran righty was handed the loss in his last start (three runs in six innings vs. Cincinnati). Stripling, who has surrendered three or fewer runs in five consecutive starts, made two appearances vs. the Tigers last season as a member of the Blue Jays. In those two starts, he held Detroit to two runs and six hits in 10.1 combined innings.
