San Diego heads to Gonzaga on Thursday, looking far too much like the lamb being led to slaughter. The Toreros have lost three straight games and find themselves in ninth place in the West Coast Conference. San Diego is also just 3-7 on the road. One week ago, San Diego nearly came back from a 23-point deficit with under 12 minutes to go in the game before falling to #17 Saint Mary's 62-59. San Diego's defense held Saint Mary's scoreless over the game's final seven minutes. Nic Lynch led the way with 17 points, a season-high for the center. Neel Beniwal scored a career-high 11 points but missed a potential game-tying three as time expired.

Despite the phenomenal effort just a week ago, the Toreros have not been very efficient on the defensive end this season in the WCC. The Toreros are 9th in the conference in scoring defense. They are just 10th in field goal percentage and 10th in 3pt defense. They are more efficient on the offensive end, ranking third in fewest turnovers per game in league play. The Toreros are third in scoring offense in the WCC as well. The team is sixth in field goal percentage overall and seventh in three-point field goal percentage. On the glass, San Diego is eighth in total rebounding.

Key Injuries: Eric Williams Jr. and his 13.5 points per game has not played since February 2nd and is questionable with a foot injury. Jaiden Delaire, averaging nearly 10 points per game, is also listed as questionable with a hand injury.
