The San Diego State Aztecs hope to keep their good feelings going with a win over UNLV in their first road game in conference play on Saturday. The Aztecs have won three straight games to push their overall record to 10-3. In their last game, at home against Air Force, San Diego State shot down Air Force 71-55 on Thursday night. Matt Bradley led the way with a season-high 27 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including 6-of-7 from long range. The Aztecs are now 31-1 in their last 32 home games overall. San Diego State shot 48% from 3pt range in the win.
“First of all, Air Force is always a tough game to get ready for,” head men's basketball coach Brian Dutcher said, “They're patient, they make you guard for 30 seconds almost every possession, they can shoot the three, so they're dangerous. Then they play switching man where they switch every single screen on the floor. I felt good because we had three good days o f practice. I told (our team) that a coach takes comfort if he likes practice going into a game, and I liked practice. I thought we would play well, and we did.”

The Aztecs have been very well balanced thus far this season. San Diego State has the 100th ranked scoring offense in the country to go along with the 75th ranked scoring defense. They have not been efficient from long range, however, ranked just 234th in the country in 3pt shooting. They make up for it on the defense end as they are 59th in the country in 3pt defense. The Aztecs are 161st in rebounding and are 22nd in the nation in steals.
