The San Diego Padres will end a homestand Tuesday night with a game in Seattle, WA against the Seattle Mariners. San Diego is 13 games over .500 writing a two game losing streak following an 11-2 last to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Joe Musgrove took the loss for San Diego after giving up four runs on six hits across 5.1 innings of work. The San Diego bullpen struggled as well allowing seven more runs on six hits over the final 3.2 innings of the game.
Offensively San Diego was terrible from the plate with only six hits in 34 at bats including 0-5 with runners in scoring position to leave eight men on base. Jake Cronenworth was the only positive in the San Diego lineup with a solo home run in the second inning of the game.

The Seattle offense shined against Atlanta with nine hits in 34 at bats including two hits with runners in scoring position to score eight runs.''Julio Rodriguez and Eugenio Suarez led the way for the Seattle offense with two home runs each.
