San Diego Padres at Philadelphia Phillies – 10/22/22 MLB Picks and Prediction

The San Diego Padres and Philadelphia Phillies face off on Saturday in Game 4 of the NLCS at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies currently have a 2-1 series lead and can take a commanding lead with a victory here. 

On Friday night it was the Phillies that were able to secure the 4-2 victory. Kyle Schwarber opened up the game with a home run, and the Phillies never looked back. The Padres tied the game in the top of the 4th, but the Phillies answered quickly with two runs in the bottom of the 4th. Alec Bohm finished the game with two hits, one run, and one RBI. Jake Cronenworth had a nice game for the Phillies finishing with two hits and one RBI. The Padres only needed 2.1 innings from their bullpen. The Phillies used three bullpen members for four innings. 

On the mound for the Phillies will be Bailey Falter and he’s making his first appearance of the postseason. His last appearance during the regular season came on October 5th against the Houston Astros. He went 1.0 inning giving up two hits and zero runs. His last full appearance was against the Washington Nationals and he went six innings giving up three hits and zero runs.
