San Antonio kicks off their nine-game road trip that spans both sides of the All-Star break as the annual Rodeo trip gets underway. The Spurs were knocked off by Cleveland at home Saturday, leaving them 10-40 on the season, leaving them last in the Southwest Division, 19 games behind the Pelicans for the top spot. They are last in the Western Conference, 25 games behind the Thunder and Timberwolves for the top spot, 19 games behind the Suns for the final guaranteed playoff spot and 14.5 games behind the Jazz for the final playoff spot. Against Cleveland, San Antonio trailed by five after the opening quarter before getting outscored 37-20 in the second quarter to trail by 22 at the half. The Spurs were down as many as 26 in the second half en route to the loss. San Antonio shot 36.7% from the field, including 12 of 40 from three-point range, and held a 54-51 edge on the glass in the loss. Devin Vassell led the Spurs with 22 points and six re bounds in the defeat.

For the year, the Spurs are 24th in the league in scoring offense as they average 112.3 points per game on the year. San Antonio is 13th in rebounding by grabbing 43.4 boards a night while they are third in the league in assists by handing out 29.3 dimes per contest. The Spurs are 15th in threes per game as they connect on 12.5 triples a night while they are 30th in three-point percentage by shooting 34.2% from beyond the arc.
