San Antonio will try to pull off a big upset when it travels to Boston on Sunday evening. The Spurs have lost three straight games and five of their last seven. Boston has won four of its last five games, beating Indiana in a 120-95 blowout on Friday.
San Antonio has been among the worst teams in the Western Conference throughout the season, and nothing has really changed of late. The Spurs have flashed some promise with wins over Indiana, Denver, Orlando and Atlanta since the end of February, but they have lost five of their last six games. They opened their current four-game road trip with losses to New Orleans, Milwaukee and Washington, with all three of those setbacks coming by double digits. Leading scorer Keldon Johnson returned to the court after missing two games with a neck strain, posting a double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds against Washington on Friday.

Johnson has scored 30 points on eight occasions this season, posting five double-doubles. The Spurs were without starters Devin Vassell (knee), rookie Jeremy Sochan (knee) and Zach Collins (bicep) along with backup Romeo Langford (adductor). Sochan is out with a knee injury, while the other three players are questionable. They were without three starters the last time they played Boston, but they still managed to put up a strong fight in a 121-116 final on Jan. 7. San Antonio comes into the NBA ranked No. 24 in scoring (112.3) and is facing a Boston defense that is No. 4 (112.0). Johnson leads San Antonio with 22.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
