San Antonio Spurs at Sacramento Kings – 11/17/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings duke it out at the Golden 1 Center on Thursday night.

The San Antonio Spurs have been in terrible form as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after falling short to the Trail Blazers in a 117-110 road loss on Tuesday. Jakob Poeltl led the team with 31 points, 14 rebounds and five assists on 14 of 17 shooting, Devin Vassell added 21 points while Keldon Johnson chipped in with 20 points and five assists. As a team, the Spurs shot 51 percent from the field and nine of 29 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to hang with the Trail Blazers in a tight contest, until late in the fourth quarter where they just couldn’t find their offense to allow the Trail Blazers to slip away in the end.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall and they will be gunning for a season-high fifth straight victory after routing the Nets in a 153-121 home win on Tuesday. Terrence Davis drained seven 3-pointers to lead the team with 31 points, nine rebounds and four assists off the bench, Kevin Huerter added 19 points, Domantas Sabonis tallied 17 points with seven assists while Harrison Barnes chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Kings shot a sizzling 59 percent from the field and 20 of 41 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 73 points in the first half to take the early lead which ballooned to 39 points in the third quarter where they exploded for another 42 points.
