The Peacocks lost to Fairfield in their previous action. The Red Foxes posted a road win against Niagara on Sunday. Saint Peter's beat Marist in both meetings last season.
The Saint Peter’s Peacocks are desperate for a victory. They have lost five consecutive games due to an extended slump in the offensive end. Saint Peter’s covered in a 58-51 road loss against Quinnipiac and were marked one-point favorites in a 56-52 home loss to Fairfield on Sunday to plummet to 2-7 in conference play. The Peacocks' latest win came in a 67-57 decision against Manhattan. They have covered the spread in three of their nine conference games.
Isiah Dasher has scored at least 19 points in two out of his last five games but has not been efficient. The senior guard has shot below 38% from the field in all but one of the clashes in that span and is averaging 14.1 PPG on the season. Jaylen Murray has netted double-digits in two of his last four games. The sophomore guard is also struggling offensively in conference play and has recorded an average of 11.2 PPG on 39% shooti ng. Jayden Saddler is in a groove, sinking at least 50% of his field goal in five out of his last six games. The senior guard is third in team scoring with 8.4 PPG.

The Peacocks are ranked 312th in DI in Ken Pomeroy’s ratings and are an abysmal 1-8 on the road this season. Saint Peter’s continues to stumble offensively, posting 60 or fewer points in five straight games, and are averaging 61.8 points on the year, landing them 350th. They are conceding an average of 64.8 points, positioning them 66th.
