Teams at the bottom of the MAAC will stand toe-to-toe again, with the Saint Peter's Peacocks (10-15, 9-15-0 ATS, 5-11 MAAC) traveling this time, to take on the Canisius Golden Griffins (7-19, 13-12-0 ATS, 5-12 MAAC). When these teams collided in January, the game required overtime. Canisius left Jersey City that afternoon with a 67-60 victory, their eighth over Saint Peter's over the last 10 meetings.

This time they get to welcome the Peacocks to Buffalo, with Koessler Athletic Center as the venue for the game. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST.

Before playing Canisius at home, Saint Peter's was 6-1 on their home floor. Now, they're 7-5. That game was the middle of a five-game losing streak for the Peacocks, and since that overtime loss, they're only 3-6. That includes losses in the last two for KenPom's 316th-rated team, the lowest among MAAC schools.

Iona destroyed the Peacocks on Sunday, beating them 73-53. Saint Peter's never held a lead and trailed by double digits for nearly the entire game. The Peacocks' offense was miserable, shooting 27.6% from the floor as a team. Corey Washington almost had a double-double, finishing with eight points and 11 boards in the loss.

Sadly, that's business as usual for the Peacocks who have a team shooting percentage of 38.0% this season. There is only one team in the country with a lower percentage than that. Their three-point shooting isn't last in the MAAC, but at 28.8%, there are only seven schools that shoot worse from beyond the arc. They play at a slow pace too, leading to only 61.5 points per game.

On defense, the Peacocks hold their own. Their opponents shoot 33.3% from three and 42.3% overall, both fifth among MAAC teams. With their slow tempo, they only allow 65.0 points per game, the second-fewest in the conference. They also rebound well, with a +3.4 rebounding margin per game.
