The St. Peter’s Peacocks will head to Albany to face the Siena Saints from the MVP Arena on ESPN. Siena leads the all-time series 42-34 after winning the last three meetings.
Saint Peter’s dropped to 7-7 after losing to Iona on the road. The Peacocks came out flat and failed to recover from a 12-point halftime deficit, losing to the Gaels, 73-55. St. Peter’s is scoring 63.6 points per game, while allowing 65.4 ppg and shooting 38.8% from the field.
St. Peter’s run last season was admirable, but there likely won’t be a repeat this year. Offense has been scarce for a rugged Peacocks team who lost nearly all of the production from the 2022 run. Isiah Dasher leads the team in scoring (13.8), after going for a career-high points against Quinnipiac. Jaylen Murray scored 22 points in the win over Bucknell, and he scores 11.9 ppg.
