Saint Louis at Saint Joseph's – 12/31/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Saint Louis Billikens will head to Philadelphia and take on the Saint Joseph’s Hawks in Atlantic 10 play this weekend from the Hagan Arena on ESPN. This will mark the 20th time Saint Louis and St. Joe’s face off, and the Billikens hold a noticeable 15-4 series lead.

Saint Louis dropped to 8-6 after losing to SIU Edwardsville at home. The Billikens blew a double-digit halftime lead to deliver one of the worst beats of the season, falling to the 15-point underdogs by two. Saint Louis is scoring 76.3 points per game, while allowing 71.1 ppg, and shooting 43.9% from the floor.

Saint Louis carries one of the most experienced teams in the A10. They’re led by stud point guard Yuri Collins, who truly orchestrates the offense and has a string on the basketball. Collins leads the country in assists at 10.3 apg after four games of 13 dimes or more, including a school record 20 dishes against Tennessee State. Gibson Jimerson leads SLU in scoring at 12.7 ppg after reaching double figures in eight of the past ten games. Francis Okoro mans the middle and is one of the top rebounders in the conference at 9.3 rpg. Senior guards Javonte Perkins (11.2 ppg) and Jaden Pickett (10.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg) round out the veteran five.
