Sacramento and Utah continue their four-game regular-season series with Game 2. Just three days ago, the Kings outlasted the Jazz 126-125 as 3-point home favorites. Sacramento opens as a small 3-point road dog this time around, so let’s take a closer look.
After finishing a six-game homestand with a couple of narrow wins over Denver 127-126 and Utah 126-125, the Sacramento Kings (19-16; 19-16 ATS) opened a two-game road trip with a 118-108 defeat at the Memphis Grizzlies this past Sunday. The Kings made just 40.6% of their field goals against the Grizzlies and yielded 64 points in the paint. Also, they allowed a whopping 21 offensive rebounds to the Grizzlies, who led by as many as 14 points.
De’Aaron Fox had 19 points and six assists last Sunday, but he also turned the ball over five times. Domantas Sabonis posted an 18-point, 14-rebound double-double, Harrison Barnes notched 16 points and five boards, while Malik Monk tallied 18 points and three assists in 26 minutes off the bench.
“Memphis is really good at protecting th e paint,” Sacramento head coach Mike Brown said. “They're long. They're athletic. They do a great job of shrinking the floor, and you have to have patience offensively.”

The Kings have been pretty unpredictable lately, going 5-6 SU in their last 11 games overall. They’ve also failed to cover the spread in five straight contests at any location.
