Sacramento Kings (39-26) vs. Phoenix Suns (37-29)
The 2022-23 NBA season continues Saturday, March 11, with the Sacramento Kings squaring off against the Phoenix Suns in the Pacific Division showdown at Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and the tip-off is set for 9:00 PM ET.
Sacramento heads to Arizona as a 3-point road underdog. The totals are listed at 237.0 points, so let’s take a closer look.
The Sacramento Kings (39-26; 36-29 ATS) have won seven of their last eight games overall. After stopping their five-game winning streak with a 138-134 home defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves this past Saturday, the Kings have won two straight contests over the New Orleans Pelicans 123-108 and New York Knicks 122-117 to wrap up a four-game homestand in style.
Last Thursday, the Kings blew a huge 21-point lead but found a way to outlast the Knicks down the stretch. De’Aaron Fox scored 16 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, while Domantas Sabonis posted his ninth triple-double of the season, finishing with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists. The Kings shot 52.4% from the field and notched a nice 28/12 assist-to-turnover ratio, but they also allowed a staggering 23 offensive rebounds.
“That’s not how we should be playing basketball,” Kings coach Mike Brown said. “I am not happy with the way that we played tonight … 23 offensive rebounds. Happy about the win, but that does not sit well with me at all. If we don’t fix that, we’re going to get our behinds kicked come playoff time. That’s when the big boys show up.”

Sacramento is tied with Memphis for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. They are 6.5 games behind Denver. The Kings continue to play excellent offense, but their defense has been pretty much awful so far this season. Sacramento boasts the highest offensive rating in the NBA, tallying 119.4 points per 100 possessions, but surrenders 116.7 points in return (26th in the league).
