The Sacramento Kings were mere seconds away from a huge road win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday but they didn't account for Dame Time as All-Star guard Dame Lillard sunk them with a 3-point field goal as time expired in a thrilling 143-142 overtime thriller. The Kings dropped to 23-16 on the season with their second straight loss but proved they could hang with anyone in the loss to one of the NBA's premier teams. De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 32 points while teammate Domantas Sabonis had his 10th triple-double of the season with 21 points, 15 assists, and 13 rebounds. The Kings trailed by 12 points late but rallied back to force overtime. The loss was made all the more frustrating by some questionable calls in the fourth quarter which resulted in the ejection of head coach Mike Brown.

“The referees are human, and they’re going to make mistakes, but you just hope that there’s som e sort of consistency and there’s some sort of communication between the refs,” Brown said. “The refs tonight, they were great, they communicated with me all night. But in terms of consistency, you guys saw it right here. In my opinion, the consistency wasn’t here tonight.”

The Kings come into this game with one of the more dynamic offenses in the NBA. They rank ninth in the league in scoring offense. The Kings are 15th field goal shooting and 14th in 3-point shooting. The Kings rely heavily on the 3-point game, ranking third in the league in 3-point field goals per game. Defensively, the Kings are ranked 20th in scoring defense. They are 22nd in field goal defense and just 27th in 3-point defense. The Kings, led by Sabonis, are 11th in the NBA in total rebounds this season. They are 16th in turnovers per game.

Key Injuries: F Keegan Murray is day-to-day (hip).
