The Sacramento Kings (18-12; 16-14 ATS) stopped a two-game slide this past Friday. After a 110-98 home defeat to the Minnesota Timberwolves and a shocking 130-113 loss at the Portland Trail Blazers, the Kings edged the Atlanta Hawks 117-110 as 1.5-point road underdogs.

Sacramento trailed Atlanta for more than 40 minutes. The Kings erased an 18-point deficit from halftime, keeping the Hawks scoreless through the final 4:45 of the fourth quarter. Sacramento finished the game with a terrific 35/12 assist-to-turnover ratio, and De’Aaron Fox led the charge with a line of 31 points, eight assists, five rebounds, and four steals.

“We got punched in the mouth, but we didn’t fold,” said Kings guard Davion Mitchell, who coach Mike Brown said was the defensive player of the game. “We played hard throughout the whole game.”

The Kings hold the No. 5 seed in the West at the moment. They are 13th in the league in adjusted offensive efficiency (116.7 points per 100 possessions) and 21st in adjusted defensive efficiency (116.9). The Kings make 15.0 triples per 100 possessions (3rd in the NBA) on a 36.4 percentage clip (16th).
