The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Sacramento Kings at the crypto.com Arena on Saturday night.
The Sacramento Kings have been in great shape as they’ve won eight of their last 11 games overall and they will be hoping to stay hot after blowing out the Pacers in a 137-114 home win on Wednesday. Harrison Barnes led the team with 22 points on six of nine shooting, Malik Monk added 20 points with six assists off the bench while De’Aaron Fox chipped in with 19 points and six assists. As a team, the Kings shot 50 percent from the field and 16 of 43 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Pacers from the start and set the tone with 33 points in the first quarter to take the early lead which ballooned to 32 points in the third quarter where they exploded for 44 points.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after having their two-game win streak snapped by the Jazz in a 125-112 road loss on Wednesday. John Wall led the team with 26 points and five assists off the bench, Reggie Jackson added 15 points while Ivica Zubac chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Clippers shot just 39 percent from the field and 10 of 30 from the 3-point line as they poured in 34 points in the second quarter to overcome an early 12-point deficit, only to get blown out in the second half where the Jazz poured in 67 points. Marcus Morris finished with just 10 points on three of 11 shooting while Terance Mann scored just five points.
