The Sacramento kings and the Atlanta Hawks collide at the State Farm Arena on Wednesday night.
The Sacramento Kings have been on fire as they’ve won 10 of their last 12 games overall and they will be aiming for an eighth straight victory after sneaking past the Grizzlies in a 113-109 road win last night. De’Aaron Fox led the way with 32 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals, Harrison Barnes added 26 points while Kevin Huerter chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Kings shot 43 percent from the field and 15 of 45 from the 3-point line, but this win was about their defense as they held the Grizzlies to just 17 points in the third quarter to open a 14-point lead before escaping with the narrow victory after the Grizzlies cut the lead to just one point.
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last 10 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting routed by the Cavaliers in a 114-102 road loss on Monday. Trae Young led the team with 25 points and 10 assists, Onyeka Okongwu added 18 points while John Collins chipped in with 16 points on five of nine shooting. As a team, the Hawks shot just 43 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they worked hard to claw their way back from an early 15-point deficit, only to let it go in the fourth quarter where they managed just 20 points to allow the Cavaliers to run away in the end.
