The Rider Broncs hope to get back on track after slipping to two games under .500 on the season with two straight losses. The Broncs are now just 3-2 in the MAAC after winning their first three games in conference play. On Friday night, Rider fell to Quinnipiac at home, 72-63. After leading at the half, Rider allowed Quinnipiac to score the first seven points of the second half and, after a back and forth stretch, an 11-2 Quinnipiac run put them in the lead for good. Allen Powell led the way with a season-high 19 points for the Broncs.

“Not a good second half. Embarrassing, as a matter of fact. Poor execution, poor rebounding, poor defense. Embarrassing.” Rider Head Coach Kevin Baggett said after the loss.

Rider comes into this matchup angling for a win to get back to .500 in conference play. The Broncs come in with the 207th ranked offense in the country. Rider is a below average 3pt shooting team, ranking 256th in the country. They have proven to be stout on the glass, however, ranking 92nd in rebounding in the nation. Defensively, Rider is ranked 174th in the nation in scoring defense. Rider is vulnerable on the perimeter, ranked just 321st against the 3pt shot. Rider is an above average team at protecting the basketball, ranking 67th in turnovers per game.
