Astros second baseman Mauricio Dubon is riding a 10-game hitting streak. He currently owns the third longest hitting streak in MLB and leads the Stros with a .356 batting average.
However, as a result, Dubon's player prop to record a hit is priced anywhere from -220 to -300. We can't in good conscience recommend that prop at those prices.
Instead, we'll look to the runs scored market. Dubon has crossed home plate in all but three games played this month. He's scored eight runs in his last seven games and only failed to do so in one game during that stretch.
There isn't much his tory to speak of against Heaney, but Dubon has two hits in five career at-bats against the Rangers starter, including a home run. Batting leadoff for Houston with sluggers Alex Bregman, Yordan Alvarez, and Jose Abreu hitting behind him, it should come as no surprise that Dubon has been plating so many runs.
