The Quinnipiac Bobcats and Canisius Golden Griffins face off on Sunday in a college basketball showdown at the Koessler Athletic Center. When these two teams faced off on January 22nd it was Quinnipiac that secured the 87-82 victory.
Quinnipiac comes into this game with a 17-8 record overall and they have gone 12-11-1 against the spread. In the last game against Niagara, Quinnipiac gave up 79 points and that led to the six point defeat. Quinnipiac is averaging 72.6 points while their defense is giving up 67.2 points per game. In the last game against Iona, Canisius only managed 59 points, but even worse was the defense giving up 80 points. Tahj Staveskie had a strong game finishing 26 points. Outside of him though, there wasn’t a whole lot of production and they need him to be better. Canisius is averaging 69.3 points while their defense is giving up 74.4 points per game. The defense is ranked 308th and is going to need to be better here.
