Azerbaijani side Qarabag dusted off Polish champions Lech Poznan with ease in the Champions League first round, overcoming Poznan by an aggregate 5-2 margin after blowing them out 5-1 in Baku.
That was then followed up by a much closer two-leg tie against Swiss champions FC Zurich in the second round, with Qarabag again nee ding home advantage to get over the line in that one.
However, on Wednesday they face arguably their stiffest test to date against Hungarian champions Ferencvaros, a team that have qualified for a major European tournament in each of their last three seasons.
