Week 8 of the 2022 NCAA college football season has no shortage of rivalry games lined up. The Big Ten will be on display this week when the Purdue Boilermakers take on the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium.
Purdue is one of the Big Ten's hottest teams, having rattled off four straight victories. Meanwhile, Wisconsin can hardly buy a win, going 1-3 in its last four outings. Can the Boilermakers keep up their successful run? Or will the Badgers figure out a way to land the upset victory?

Despite Purdue having more recent success, it's Wisconsin that's favored to win here. This shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, though. The Badgers have won an astounding 15 straight games against the Boilermakers, having not lost to their Big Ten rivals since October 2003.
Nevertheless, this clearly isn't the same Badgers team as years before. Wisconsin has been dreadful in conference play outside of its victory against bottom-feeding Northwestern. The Badgers were outscored 120 to 58 in their three Big Ten losses, which could mean trouble against the Boilermakers, who own a 3-1 conference record so far.
At the end of the day, I ex pect Purdue QB Aidan O'Connell to lead his team to success against a Wisconsin secondary that just gave up 290 passing yards last week. Unless the Boilermakers get off to a slow start, they should come out of this one on top.
