The Prairie View A&M Panthers and Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions look to improve on last season's disappointments when they meet in a SWAC matchup on Monday night. The Panthers (6-10, 2-1 SWAC), who finished tied for eighth at 8-10 and were 8-19 overall a year ago, swept both meetings with Arkansas-Pine Bluff last season. The Golden Lions (5-11, 1-2), who placed 11th in the SWAC at 5-13 and were 7-24 in 2021-2022, are 10- 7 on their home floor since the start of last season, including 5-0 this year. Prairie View A&M has lost eight of 10.
