The Prairie View A&M Panthers will make the 45-minute trip up to College State and face the Texas A&M Aggies in non-conference action from the Reed Arena on the SEC Network.
Prairie View A&M is 4-8 after losing to New Mexico in Albuquerque. The Panthers were overwhelmed in Pit early and often, and fell to the Lobos by 31 points. Prairie View is scoring 70.5 points per game, while allowing 73.4 ppg, and shooting 41.2% from the floor. Former SMU guard Sam Douglas leads the team in scoring at 15.2 ppg.
Texas A&M is 7-5 after defeating Northwestern State at home. The Aggies got a much needed win to avoid the possibility of going into SEC play below .500, defeating the Demons 74-53. Texas A&M is scoring 74.8 points per game, while allowing 68.8 ppg, and shooting 44.1% from the floor.
