Potato Bowl Preview: Georgia State vs. Utah State
Playing on the “Smurf Turf” at Albertsons Stadium is nothing new to the Utah State Aggies. Will that provide an advantage for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on December 23 against Georgia State? It will be a much longer trip for the Panthers as well, who drew one of the short straws to go play a bowl game in cold weather. Forecasted temps are in the upper 30s, so the boys from Atlanta will have to bundle up and stay warm for Saturday’s game.
It has been a rough go in the bowl season for the Sun Belt, so we’ll see if that trend continues with a Panthers bunch missing some key players.
