The Portland Trail Blazers (29-31; 31-29 ATS) snapped their two-game skid last Sunday, After a couple of losses to the Washington Wizards 126-101 and at the Sacramento Kings 131-114, the Trail Blazers defeated the lowly Houston Rockets 131-114 as 9.5-point home favorites.
Damian Lillard went off for franchise and career-high 71 points against the Rockets. He was 13-for-22 from beyond the arc and 14-for-14 from the charity stripe. Jerami Grant notched 13 points and five rebounds, while Nassir Little had 11 points and nine boards.

Portland remains the No. 11 seed in the West, trailing the tenth-seeded New Orleans Pelicans by half a game. The Trail Blazers boast the fourth-highest offensive rating in the NBA, racking up 117.2 points per 100 possessions, but their defense has been awful thus far. Portland allows 117.4 points per 100 possessions (27th in the NBA) on 55.2% shooting from inside the arc (tied-18th) and 37.0% from downtown (tied-23rd).
