The Portland State Vikings will head down the coast to take on the Santa Clara Broncos in non-conference action this Tuesday from the Leavey Center.

Portland State dropped to 5-5 after a road loss to Cal Poly. The Vikings only trailed by four at the break, but they were bottled up and only scored 18 points in the second half. PSU is scoring 85.3 points per game, while shooting 46.6% from the floor, and 34.6% from deep. Jorell Satterfield leads PSU in scoring (15.7), after scoring 24 points in the win over Air Force, while backcourt mate Cam Parker is right behind him with averages of 15.1 ppg, and a team-lead 5.1 apg. 

Santa Clara fell to 8-3 after a home loss to San Jose State. The Spartans ended the Broncos five-game winning streak with a massive second half comeback, picking up the double-digit victory as eight-point underdogs. SCU is scoring 72.4 points per game, while shooting 41.9% from the floor, and 33.1% from three. Brandin Podziemski leads the charge for SCU after coming for Illinois, and he’s got three performances of 27 or more, including dropping 34 in his debut against GASO. Podziemski is leading the Broncos in scoring (19.4) and rebounding (8.9).
