Portland State at Cal Poly – 12/10/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Portland State Vikings will travel down to San Luis Obispo and face the Cal Poly Mustangs in non-conference action this weekend from the Mott Gym.

Portland State is 5-4 after defeating Air Force at home last weekend. The Vikings and the Falcons competed in what sounded like a NFL matchup, with PSU grinding out a four-point victory, and picking up their third win along the way. Portland State is scoring 85.3 points per game, while shooting 46.6% from the floor, and 34.6% from deep.

It starts in the backcourt with Jorell Saterfield and Cameron Parker for the Vikes. Saterfield has made himself comfy after coming over from UTEP, scoring team-highs of 26 in the win over Oregon State and 21 points against Gonzaga. Parker brings so much experience to the table, and he’s looked good in year six. Saterfield leads the team early with 16.9 ppg, while Parker has a nice line of 15.8 ppg, 5.6 apg, and 3.1 rpg. Elon transfer Hunter Woods also looks nice early, and after double-doubling in his debut versus Portland, he leads the Vikings in rebounding (5.8), while scoring 10.3 ppg.
