The Portland Pilots will fly down to Provo and face the BYU Cougars in West Coast Conference play this weekend from the Marriott Center on BYUtv. BYU holds the all-time series lead 20-2.
Portland dropped to 8-8 after losing to LMU at home. The Pilots were overpowered by the Lions early, and they’d end up opening conference play with a 20-point loss. Portland scores 78.8points per game, while allowing 68.6 ppg and shooting 46.3 from the floor.
Tyler Robertson runs the show for Portland again this season. The junior swingman has flirted with a handful of triple-doubles this season, and he leads the Pilots in scoring (14.8) and assists (5.7). Moses Wood compliments him from the inside, and he leads the team in rebounding (6.4), while scoring 13.3 ppg.
