The Pittsburgh Pirates continue a road trip Saturday night to start the new month with game two of five against the St. Louis Cardinals. Bryse Wilson got the start for Pittsburgh giving up no runs on three hits across 8 innings leading to a no decision. The Pittsburgh bullpen allowed three runs on three hits in one inning before Yohan Ramirez came on to allow nothing across one inning to pick up the victory.

Offensively Pittsburgh did just enough from the plate with nine hits and 38 at bats including three hits with runners in scoring position to score four runs. O'Neil Cruz led the way for the Pittsburgh offense with two hits in five at bats to drive in two runs, while two other Pirates drove in one run each.
