Rickard Rakell, Bryan Rust, and Jason Zucker have combined for 30 goals and 39 assists while defensemen Kris Letang and Jeff Petry have added five goals and 23 assists from the point to open up the offense.
The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.03 goals per game with 18 goals in the last four games. Marcus Pettersson and Pierre-Olivier Joseph have combined for 3.5 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net at will. The bright spot has been the play of goaltender Tristan Jarry who has a .917 save percentage and a 2.78 goals-against average on 808 shots.
