The Pittsburgh Penguins and Carolina Hurricanes face off on Sunday in an NHL showdown at the PNC Arena. When these two teams faced off on November 29th it was the Hurricanes that secured the 3-2 victory.

On Thursday against the Seattle Kraken, the Hurricanes were able to secure the 3-2 victory. The Hurricanes also played a game on Saturday against the Dallas Stars. Carolina is averaging 2.83 goals while their defense is giving up 2.58 goals per game. The defense is ranked 4th best in the league. They are facing 25.8 shots per game which is fewest in the NHL. Martin Necas has been the top player scoring 12 goals and adding 16 assists.
