Phoenix Suns vs. Miami Heat Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 11-14-2022

The Miami Heat go for their third straight win Monday as they host the Phoenix Suns. The Heat are 6-7 on the season while the Suns are 8-4. The Suns have won four of the last five matchups between these two, and the two teams split a couple of games last season.

The Phoenix Suns have picked up where they left off last season, as least as far as the regular season goes. The Suns have raced out to an 8-4 record and have the best record in the Pacific Division, leading the Clippers by 1.5 games. However, the Suns have lost two of three on this current road trip, including an upset delivered by the Orlando Magic. The Magic smoked the Suns 114-97 as a 7 point underdog. The Suns played without two starters, including Chris Paul and Cam Johnson.

Paul is questionable for Monday's game, but Johnson is out until January. Cameron Payne got the start at point guard and he had 22 points with 4 assists and 5 three pointers. Devin Booker had an off night with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists while Deandre Ayton added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Bit no one else did much. The Suns only shot 40% from the floor and were out rebounded 50-38. The Suns are 15th in points per game and they lead the league with the fewest points allowed per game.
