The Phillies welcomed back NLCS MVP Bryce Harper this past week and the return of the Phillies star has given the lineup a boost. The Phillies have now reeled off three straight wins and have pulled to within a game of .500 after sweeping the Blue Jays in a brief two-game series. On Wednesday afternoon, trailing 1-0 the Phillies tied the game in the 9th on a J.T. Realmuto double and won it in the 10th when an errant throw allowed Edmundo Sosa to slide home with the winning run for a 2-1 win.

The Phillies will hand the ball off to Taijuan Walker in the series opener in Colorado. Walker is 3-2 in seven starts with an ERA just south of 6.00. He is coming off one of his best performances of the year, allowing three hits and a run in six innings in a win over Boston. On the road, Walker is 2-2 with a 6.75 ERA with two quality starts. He has given up five home runs on the road which could be an issue in Colorado. Walker has a hard-hit percentage just under 40% which is above the league average. His walk percentage is a career-high 11.5.
