Philadelphia earned a split of their four-game series on the road with the Reds as they prevailed in the finale of the set Sunday afternoon. The Phillies entered Tuesday 6-10 on the season and stood fourth in the NL East, 6.5 games behind the Braves for the top spot in the division race. Against Cincinnati Sunday, Philadelphia rapped out 23 hits with Brandon Marsh (three runs, RBI) leading the way with four. Bryson Stott (run, two RBI), Trea Turner (three runs, RBI), J.T. Realmuto (run, RBI) and Alec Bohm (two runs, RBI) each added three hits for the Phillies. Realmuto (his second) and Stott (his first) went deep in the win. Aaron Nola (1-2) earned the win on the mound as he threw six innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits with three walks and four strikeouts. He was staked to a 9-0 lead before taking the mound, making it easy for him.
