The Flyers are having a great season but hope their offense can improve, scoring only 2.94 goals per game. Travis Konecny, Joel Farabee, and Sean Couturier have scored 49 goals and 63 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has struggled. Only five skaters have scored eight goals or more and opponents can limit the top-heavy offense as a result.

The offense has struggled but the defense has stepped up, allowing only 2.85 goals per game. Nick Seeler and Sean Walker have combined for 5.9 defensive point shares and 204 blocked shots while Yegor Zamula, Travis Sanheim, and Cameron York have combined for 5.9 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. Additionally, goaltender Samuel Ersson has struggled with a .905 save percentage and a 2.44 goals-against average on 566 shots with 0.6 goals saved above average.
