Philadelphia Eagles 2022 futures: Super Bowl odds, win total picks, best bets, schedule and more

It's amazing how former coach Doug Pederson's 2020 Week 17 tank job somehow changed the fortunes of the Eagles franchise. Philadelphia looked to be a team going nowhere but general manager Howie Roseman got creative with a slew of trades. Somehow Philly was able to con Indianapolis for a first round pick in exchange for Carson Wentz, which the Eagles essentially used to acquire budding star receiver A.J. Brown from the Titans. If Jalen Hurts can improve his average-at-best accuracy (59% in his first two seasons), the team has potential to make noise deep into January. With Brown, former Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith, and tight end Dallas Goedert, there aren't many teams with a better core of offensive weapons than the Eagles. If Hurts isn't the guy, backup Gardner Minshew will have a strong chance to revitalize his career with the Eagles' rebuilt weaponry.

Coach Nick Sirianni's team has a chance to start quickly as they'll be favored in at least seven of their first nine games, if not potentially all of them. With the exception of a three-game midseason stretch at Indianapolis, vs. Green Bay, and vs. Tennessee, the schedule is a borderline dream. Only six of their seventeen games are against 2021 playoff teams, including two against Arizona and Pittsburgh, who likely won't be back in 2022.

With the improved offense and incredibly favorable schedule, there's no reason Philly shouldn't surpass its nine-win projection and at the same time, make the NFC playoffs. Both are solid bets at -145 / -150. It's also reasonable to predict that the Eagles can win the NFC East, which presents great value at +185. The only thing keeping Philadelphia from being a top contender to win the conference is inconsistent quarterback play.
