Philadelphia 76ers (40-22) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (45-17)

The NBA betting action goes on Saturday, March 4, with the Philadelphia 76ers facing off against the Milwaukee Bucks in the marquee Eastern Conference showdown at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Philadelphia and Milwaukee continue their four-game regular-season series after spitting the first two contests. The Bucks open as 5.5-point home favorites with a total of 228.0 points.

The Philadelphia 76ers (40-22; 36-26 ATS) have dropped three of their last four games overall. After a couple of home losses to the Boston Celtics 110-107 and Miami Heat 101-99 and a 119-96 road victory at the Heat, the 76ers suffered a 133-126 defeat at the Dallas Mavericks this past Thursday.

Phila couldn’t contain Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, who combined for 82 points and 18 assists. The 76ers outscored the Mavs 60-34 in the paint, but Dallas went 25-for-48 from downtown. Philadelphia was 12-for-27 from deep and 24-for-29 from the foul line, while Joel Embiid led the way with 35 points and eight rebounds. James Harden notched 27 points and 13 assists, and Tyrese Maxey added 29 points.

“They were tough with one wizard with the basketball in Luka,” Sixers forward Tobias Harris said. “Now they’ve got two of them out there. Those are tough matchups. They just picked us apart tonight.”

The 76ers remain the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference. They are 2.5 games ahead of the No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers and 4.5 games behind the No. 2 Boston Celtics. Philadelphia ranks seventh in the league in adjusted offensive efficiency (116.5 points per 100 possessions) and eighth in adjusted defensive efficiency (112.6).
