Philadelphia saw their six-game win streak snapped as they were knocked off by Indiana on the road in their previous contest Thursday night. The 76ers fell to 29-14 on the season and stood second in the Atlantic Division, five games behind the Celtics for the top spot. They held the third seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture, five games behind Boston for the top spot and six games ahead of the Heat for the final guaranteed playoff spot. Against Indiana, Philadelphia trailed 6-0 57 seconds into the game and never got even the rest of the way. The 76ers trailed by nine after the opening quarter, by 12 at the half and by 21 after three quarters before narrowing the margin in the final stanza. Philadelphia shot 48.3% from the field, including seven of 29 from three-point range, and allowed Indiana to shoot 57% in the game. Joel Embiid led the 76ers with 31 points and seven rebounds in the loss.

Covington (knee) last played on January 6 and is out until late February. Melton (back) last played on January 12 and is expected to be out until early February. Bamba (knee) last played on January 12 and is out indefinitely. Morris Sr. (foot) missed the last two games while Harris (illness) missed Thursday’s contest. Both are considered questionable for this contest so watch for updates.
