Philadelphia 76ers vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-22-2023

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Chicago Bulls play the back half of a two game set Wednesday in the Windy City. The Bulls won the first game of the set on Monday, prevailing 109-105 in double overtime in Philly. The Sixers are 48-23 while the Bulls are 34-37 on the year. The Bulls have taken 2 out of 3 from the Sixers this season. Tipoff is at 8:00 p.m. EDT at the United Center in Chicago.

The Philadelphia 76ers fell back to third in the Eastern Conference after Monday's 109-105 double overtime loss to the Bulls. The Sixers are now 48-23, 3 games behind the first place Bucks and one half game behind the second place Celtics. The loss snapped the Sixers 8 game winning streak. Philly out shot and out rebounded Chicago, but turnovers and fouls really hurt them.

Joel Embiid had another huge outing for the Sixers, with 37 points and 16 rebounds. But the NBA's leading scorer fouled out in the first overtime and that put the Sixers at a sizable disadvantage in the second overtime period. Tyrese Maxey added 22 points while De'Anthony Melton added 19 points. James Harden did play, fighting an injury, but only had 5 points. Harden did have 7 rebounds and 12 assists, though. PJ Tucker is questionable for Wednesday.
