The NBA teams have been taking the In-Season Tournament more serious than some expected, and Philadelphia picked up a solid group win in Atlanta. The Sixers are 2-1 in group play, with one loss to Indiana. The Sixers won behind 32 points from Joel Embiid and 29 from Tobias Harris. Robert Covington has stepped into the starting lineup since Kelly Oubre's injury from a traffic accident.

Joel Embiid is leading the NBA in scoring with 31.9 PPG, and he fills out a stat sheet as he also contributes 11.1 RPG and 6.0 APG. Embiid has scored 30 or more in four of the last five games. Tyrese Maxey is becoming a star in Philly, he averages 26.9 PPG and 6.8 APG. Maxey had a 50-point game earlier this season against Indiana. Tobias Harris has been a steady scorer for the 76ers for years, he averages 20.3 PPG and 6.9 RPG. Embiid, Maxey and Harris are the main contributors, they were getting help from Kelly Oub re, but he will miss this game as he is still recovering from his accident where he was allegedly hit by a car.

De'Anthony Melton has been a nice role player for Philly so far, he typically is in the starting lineup and is averaging 11.1 PPG on the year. Nic Batum and Robert Covington fill spots on the perimeter after they came over in the James Harden trade. Philly's offense ranks 4th in offensive efficiency and 7th in defensive efficiency according to dunksandthrees.com. Their tempo ranks 11th in the league based upon their amount of possessions per game.
