The Philadelphia 76ers have been in decent shape as they’ve won seven of their last 11 games overall, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after falling just short to the Heat in a 101-99 loss on Monday. Joel Embiid led the team with 27 points and 12 rebounds, James Harden added 20 points with 12 assists while Tyrese Maxey provided the spark off the bench with 23 points on eight of 16 shooting. As a team, the 76ers shot just 43 percent from the field and 10 of 28 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to rally back from an 11-point fourth quarter deficit, only to see the Heat’s Jimmy Butler still the game on free throws with just 8.1 seconds left on the clock.

Jimmy Butler led the team with 23 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four steals, Gabe Vincent added 14 points while Bam Adebayo and Max Strus each scored 13 points. As a team, the Heat shot 43 percent from the field and 15 of 37 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble when they squandered an 11-point lead, but they turned to Butler who delivered down the stretch to finish just one assist shy of a triple-double.
