The 2022-23 NHL regular season is now finished, and for those teams who failed to advance to the playoffs, inevitable head coach changes are already underway.
As of April 19, three teams – the Anaheim Ducks, Washington Capitals, and Columbus Blue Jackets – are in the market for new head coaches, having parted ways with their previous bench bosses following the season's conclusion.

Just one day after the conclusion of the Ducks' season, April 14, the Ducks announced they would not be renewing head coach Dallas Eakins' contract, ending his time in Anaheim after four seasons with no playoff appearances.
