Pennsylvania at Cornell – 1/6/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Penn Quakers will head to New York and face the Cornell Big Red in Ivy League play from the Newman Arena on ESPN+. Cornell leads the all-time series 161-55 after winning the last five meetings.

Penn improved to 8-7 after beating Brown in Providence. The Quakers opened Ivy League play on a good note, traveling and defeating the Bears by eight points. Penn is scoring 74.1 points per game, while allowing 72.7 ppg and shooting 45.8% from the field. 

Penn has played pretty well since starting the season 0-3. picking up wins over Delaware and Temple along the way. Jordan Dingle is the guy for Penn, and he’s enjoying a magical season. The three-year starter has scored 25 or more in five of the last six games, and he leads the Ivy League in scoring at 23.8 ppg. Fellow junior guard Clark Slajchert (18.1 ppg) went for 33 points against Colgate, and led the team with 31 points in the win over Brown last time out.
